Invitation to the Commemoration Service for the Completion of the Renovation of the Shinshū Honbyō’s Two Main Halls
On March 31, 2016, the Commemoration Service for the Returning of the Amida Statue was observed. At this service, the statue of Amida Buddha was transferred back to the central altar of the Amida Hall after the completion of the renovation.
This will be followed by the Commemoration Service for the Completion of the Renovation of the Shinshū Honbyō’s Two Main Halls on November 20 and 21 of this year in conjunction with the annual Hōonkō services. We wish to celebrate this auspicious event in front of the images of Amida Buddha and Shinran Shōnin together with all of you who have supported this major project. We look forward to seeing you at the temple then.
